ASFA HOLDING Board Chairman Asaf ATASOY included the following statements in his message;
My dear fellow citizens;
Today, we are experiencing the happiness and excitement of celebrating the Newroz Holiday, the symbol of unity, solidarity and brotherhood, and the harbinger of spring.
The Nevruz Festival, which symbolizes the awakening of nature that has been sleeping throughout the winter, the harmony and concord reflected by the colors of spring, peace and tolerance, is celebrated with the same enthusiasm in a wide geography from Asia to the Balkans, from the Middle East to Anatolia.
Nevruz represents the abundance and fertility of spring and the beauty it brings to human life. It points to the multi-colored nature, friendship, solidarity and cooperation in our lives.
With the awareness that equality and justice are fundamental conditions for the peace and prosperity of humanity, we reiterate with a common and strong voice the call and hope for a peaceful world without discrimination based on race, color, language, religion, or gender on every Newroz Holiday.
The Newroz Festival has a different meaning for our nation, which sees differences as richness, considers people and nature as its entrusted, forms the basis of living together with love, respect and solidarity, and spreads these beauties to the world with the valuable personalities it raises. Therefore, Newroz is one of our most important cultural assets that reflects the ancient values of our nation from past to present and that we must protect and pass on from generation to generation.
Based on the depth of meaning that Nevruz has represented for thousands of years, we will carry our brotherhood to the new millennium. We will remain united and whole under the shadow of our national and cultural values; we will meticulously protect our peace and order.
I congratulate all our citizens on the Newroz Holiday, hoping that it will be a means for new beginnings and hopes and bring goodness to all humanity; I offer my greetings, love and respect.
